General Principles for the Talented Athlete Scheme
the onus is on the resident to provide evidence that they meet the scheme criteria
the agreement is made on an annual basis. The athlete will need to present evidence that they meet the scheme criteria annually to stay on the scheme
the National Governing Body must inform the Company if the athlete withdraws from their Talent Programme
the Talented Athlete must inform the Company if they withdraw from their Talent Programme, or their circumstances have changed including change of home address
no age restrictions will apply
no restrictions of eligible sports will apply
the free membership can only be used by the talented athlete. It does not permit free access for anyone else
access to facilities will be made subject to centre programmes and during public access times. The scheme does not provide exclusive access to facilities
the scheme does not cover coaching costs, expenses or any other costs
the standard rules that apply to all leisure memberships and use of facilities will apply when awarded a membership under the Talented Athlete Scheme
