Walk Hull at West Park
Walk Hull is a new walking initiative developed in collaboration between -
- Fitmums and Friends
- Hull Culture and Leisure
- Hull City Council
There are 7 pink signs situated around the footpaths of the park. Scan the QR code on the signs with your smartphone’s camera to be taken to the Walk Hull webpage. Scan a second code and the website will tell you how far you’ve travelled between the 2 points and how long it took.
Walk Hull also counts up the total distanced travelled by all users and records milestones for the community.
You can choose your own route, and all the signs are along the existing pathways so are accessible to all park users of any age or mobility. Try it with friends, family or on your own and get more active.
Wheelchair access
Access to the park is level and pathways are mainly level as you travel through the park.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Toilets
There is a toilet block with male, female, child and disabled toilets next to the paddling pool. Toilets are open from 10am to 3pm.
