Woodford Leisure Centre

Woodford Leisure Centre was substantially upgraded in 2018 and includes the following - 

• a state of the art immersive virtual fitness studio
• upgraded fitness suite with cardio and resistance machines plus functional fitness and free weights areas
• a family changing village to compliment our existing dry side and pool side changing facilities
• new disabled changing places
• new six lane swimming pool and teaching pool with poolpod disability access
• four refurbished squash courts

Casual Users

For people who wish to be casual users and not take out a monthly Direct Debit membership, you can book online per session. Just click on the button below, select Sign Up and register your details. You can then book and pay for sessions as and when you choose.

Gym inductions

If you are new to Hull Culture and Leisure facilities and wish to use one of our fitness suites, please ensure that you visit our Gym Induction page before visiting.

The video will provide you with the essential information required to use our fitness suites. Should you require a more in-depth induction, please ask at reception when you visit one of our leisure facilities.

Going swimming

During busy periods we will be operating a band system for swimmers with a 60 minute swim including changing time and that there could be a waiting time if our pools are at capacity. During busy periods there is strictly no diving or jumping into the main pool.

We ask all people going swimming to be considerate of others and to ensure that they have read the pool safety rules (which includes adult to junior ratios and our rules on behaviour in the pool). You can read the pool safety rules on the link below.

Pool Safety Rules

Booking a fitness class, aqua class or the Disco Dive.

Fitness classes, aqua classes and the Disco Dive can be booked online, by phone or at reception. The easiest way to book is online and both members and non-members can book online using the button underneath.

Booking in advance is up to eight days in advance for members and seven days in advance for non-members.

For non-members using our online portal, simply click on the Sign Up button to register your details and pay for a casual session.

You can book by calling Woodford Leisure Centre reception on 01482 331 322. Please be advised that our phone lines are exceptionally busy at the moment so we do suggest you book online.

Juniors and families can access the fitness suite at Woodford Leisure Centre.

Sauna / Steam Facilities

Our sauna and steam facilities have reopened. We are currently operating on a limited capacity with enhanced cleaning protocols to gradually increase customer numbers at a safe level so our sauna / steam rooms are restricted to 15 people maximum and we are operating a band system.

There is no need to pre-book, you can walk up and use our sauna / steam facilities.

Our opening times are - 

• Mondays 8am to 2.30pm and 3pm to 9pm
• Tuesday to Friday 7am to 3pm and 3.30pm to 9pm
• Weekends 8.30am to 3pm

Please note the Sauna / Steam facilities are closed for cleaning from -

• 2.30pm to 3pm on Mondays
• 3pm to 3.30pm Tuesday to Friday.
